Obtaining access to the thru-hull fitting and seacock inlet beneath the strainers is made easy with the access door design.  There is no need to remove the entire strainer to clear marine growth blockage.  Aluminum models may be welded or screwed to aluminum hulls. Consult the diagram and chart below to determine which size strainer is best for you.
